InprOTech was present at the “Workshop of the Vehicle of the Future”, organized by the Cluster of Automotive Companies of Galicia (CEAGA) this Wednesday, November 27th. The workshop was attended by companies in the sector such as Borgwarner, PSA and CTAG as a technology centre, as well as by Lluis Ramís who spoke about his vision of automotive clusters in Europe.
In this workshop, which was very well received by the members of the cluster, Antonio Fernández Barciela, head of connected vehicles at PSA, wanted to highlight the importance of cyber security in V2X communications (vehicle to everything) and how PSA is tackling the challenge of 5G. Francisco Sánchez Pons (Director of Electronics and Intelligent Systems at CTAG) highlighted the evolution of the autonomous vehicle and the challenges of cyber security for driver and passenger safety.
The closing ceremony was attended by Ignacio Bueno (director of the PSA Vigo plant) who wanted to highlight the conclusions of the conference where CEAGA is committed to greater interaction between the companies in the cluster and more initiatives of this kind that promote a self-sustaining automotive ecosystem that covers the entire horizontal of services.
